Does a high match percentage mean the part is guaranteed to fit?
It means every spec you asked about has real, published data on that product and it matches (or is close, for ratio/shaft-size). A mismatched motor flange or frame is excluded from the results entirely, not just scored low. Always confirm dimensions against the datasheet before ordering, and email orderdesk@kkmsolutions.com if you want a second check.
Why do some results show "partial spec data"?
That product does not yet have a published value for one of the dimensions you asked about, so its score is capped rather than assumed to match. We would rather show you an honest, capped score than invent a number.
If I need a stainless-steel (washdown/corrosive-duty) gearbox, could this show me a cast-iron one instead?
No. Housing material is a hard filter derived from each product's own category — a cast-iron or aluminum gearbox is excluded outright when you ask for stainless steel, never shown at a lower score. That is a real corrosion/environment requirement, not a cosmetic finish choice.
