Bearing Interchange Lookup Tool

Type in a deep-groove ball bearing designation from SKF, FAG, NSK, NTN, or Koyo (60xx, 62xx, or 63xx series) and get the equivalent part number from every other brand instantly. Covers open, sealed (-2RS), and shielded (-ZZ) variants — the cases where the equivalence is a published, mechanical fact, not a guess.

Works with any of SKF, FAG, NSK, NTN, or Koyo designations.

How this works

Standard deep-groove ball bearings (60xx, 62xx, 63xx) are built to ISO 15 boundary dimensions, and the base number (e.g. 6205) is shared across every major manufacturer. Each maker uses its own suffix for the same seal/shield feature — this tool parses your input into a base number and closure type, then shows the equivalent designation from the other four brands, plus the bore diameter (derived from the standardized bore-code arithmetic: the last two digits of the base number, ×5 mm, with codes 00/01/02/03 meaning 10/12/15/17 mm).

For the full explanation and a closure-code reference table, see our bearing interchange guide.

Frequently asked questions

What bearing series does this tool cover?

Standard deep-groove ball bearings in the 60xx, 62xx, and 63xx series (e.g. 6205, 6304), in open, sealed (-2RS), and shielded (-ZZ) variants — the cases where the cross-brand equivalence is a published, mechanical fact rather than a judgment call.

Which brands does it cross-reference?

SKF, FAG, NSK, NTN, and Koyo — using each manufacturer's own published closure-suffix convention for the same physical seal or shield feature.

Why doesn't it show outside diameter or width?

Those dimensions vary by series and bore size and we'd rather show nothing than a guessed number. The bore diameter shown is derived from the standardized ISO 15 / ABMA bore-code arithmetic, which is a formula, not a lookup table, so it's reliable for every valid input.

Can KKM Solutions source a bearing not shown here?

Yes — email the part number and quantity to [email protected]. We source to exact manufacturer specification per order.
