Teroson EP 221 A is a two‑component, solvent‑free epoxy‑based structural adhesive with high strength for constructive bonding. The adhesive can be cured cold or warm, and the cured film is hard but not brittle. It is intended for bonding metals and plastics (including duromeres such as phenolic, melamine, epoxy and polyester) to various metals, porcelain, stoneware, concrete and wood. Joint designs should be selected to subject the bond line only to tensile or shear forces, avoiding peel stresses; simple overlap bonding is recommended, and embedding suitable glass fabric on both sides of the joint can increase peel resistance two‑ to three‑fold.
