Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. This three pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 30 amperes. This starter has ratings of 2 HP at 115 VAC and 5 HP at 230 VAC single phase. It has a 10 HP at 230 VAC, 15 HP at 460 VAC and 20 HP at 575 VAC poly phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The starter has straight through wiring. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This starter doesn't have an enclosure. Enclosures are available. Starter is 7.0 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4.0 inches deep. Auxiliary contacts are available for these starters. 8911DPS definite purpose starters are UL component recognized.
