The Roxar Downhole Network Controller (DHNC) cards act as an interface to provide two-way communication between the downhole instrumentation and the operators interface via the Tubing Encapsulated Cable (TEC). These cards can run every downhole tool in the Roxar catalog and communicate on all standard industry interfaces. Roxar also provides a range of Surface Acquistion Units (SAU) or Subsea Canisters (DIU) that allow the DHNC card to be installed on topside or subsea based field infrastructure. Since its release in 2006, thousands of DHNC cards have been installed subsea following successful Q2 qualification by all major EPC companies. It has proven to be a superb, reliable controller with an exceptional track record in operation and service.
