Overview The Johnson Controls P128AA-17C is a P128 Series lube oil pressure cutout control designed to provide dependable and economical low-pressure lubrication protection for pressure-lubricated refrigeration compressors. By sensing the net lube oil pressure (the difference between the oil pump pressure and the crankcase refrigerant pressure), this control protects the compressor from damage by de-energizing it if the net oil pressure falls below the required differential setpoint. It features a built-in, ambient-compensated time delay relay to allow pressure to build up on initial startup and to prevent nuisance shutdowns caused by short-duration pressure drops during the running cycle.
